Course Description

This course is designed for Fire Wardens who need to refresh their knowledge of fire safety procedures, regulations, and their role within an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO). The course has been developed to cover a broad range of emergencies and facilities as considered in Australian Standard 3745 and Australian Standard 4083. Stay up to date with best practices and enhance your ability to respond effectively in an emergency. By completing this course, students will gain a basic understanding of: • Safe work practices • Planning for emergencies • How to identify fire hazards • Risk management processes and control measures • Emergency signs, signals and warnings • Emergency systems and equipment • Evacuation procedures • How to operate within an Emergency Control Organisation (ECO) • Emergency response procedures • Fire and emergency prevention • Implementing post initial response actions and reporting This course is expected to take approximately 1 hour to complete.
